History

The Hitching Post and Old Country Store has been a favorite stop for generations. Take a step back in time to the simpler days. Shop amidst a vast collection of extraordinary artifacts and antiques. Enjoy an ice cold sarsaparilla and a game of checkers on the porch. Stroll the grounds and see the authentic moonshine still, antique buggies, blacksmith and wagon shop and the life size paper mache horse that has been a favorite photograph spot.
